General goods

All goods that can be transported from one point to another with a standard cargo transportation conveyance. All goods which cannot be transported by specialized or authorized transport means due to their properties, characteristics, dimensions, volumes and weight, are not considered general goods.

FTL

Abbreviation for full truckload (fully loaded truck). Full Truckload (FTL) shipping is the movement of large amounts of homogenous cargo. The cargo usually remains on a single vehicle from the point of origin to the destination.

LTL

Abbreviation for less than truckload (grouped freight truck) – it is the transportation of relatively small freight. A LTL shipment involves the freight collection from various shippers and its consolidation onto enclosed trailers for line haul to the delivering terminal or to a hub terminal where the freight will be further sorted and consolidated for additional line hauls.

Low loader transport

Transportation of goods, equipment and various other items / goods that exceed standard dimensions - weight and / or one dimension (length, width or height) approved for road freight.

Inland trucking

Transportation of goods by road. The movement of large amounts of homogeneous cargo, generally the amount necessary to fill an entire semi-trailer or intermodal container.

Intermodal transport

Transportation of goods using multiple modes of transportation (rail, ship and truck) without handling of the goods itself when changing modes.

Warehousing solutions

A warehouse is a commercial building for storage of goods. The purpose of the warehouse is to store products until customers require them.

Customs clearance

Documented permission to pass that a national customs authority grants to imported goods so that they can enter the country or to exported goods so that they can leave the country.
